What’s a class hair model?

A class hair model is a student or person volunteering to have their hair cut for educational purposes in a classroom setting. People have the opportunity to learn how to cut, style, and color hair in this setting. It’s also a great way to help people who are looking for affordable haircuts. People get the chance to try out their new skills on you while enjoying discounted rates!

What is involved with participating in class?

Participants of this program will be required to sign up at our salon and be paired with one of our professional stylists. This meeting is an opportunity for our stylists to discuss your hair concerns, learn what you are looking to achieve with the new cut/color, and answer any questions you may have. We will work on your hair accordingly to the class topic. Of course, we will make sure the hairstyle fits your face frame.

All class models should bring in pictures of haircuts they want. It’s also helpful if people bring reference materials that show different angles of their face to help us see how certain cuts would look on them or which styles work best depending on the shape of their face. This is not required but it does speed up the process so we can get started as soon as possible

How often do classes run?

Classes are usually offered weekly at our salon to allow students enough time to practice what they have learned. See our latest rates and appointment availability here.
