Safety Protocols

For Guest/Clients

The below protocols are being put in place to create a clean and safe salon experience. Because of this, there may be slight delays during appointments. We appreciate your understanding and patience.

  • Salon coordinators will call you when it is safe to come inside while waiting in the car or outside and please do not bring family members, friends, and pets to the salon due to the limited capacity in the salon at this pandemic time.

 

  • It is mandatory to wear a mask at all times. Due to restrictions on supplies, we ask that you please bring your own mask to your appointment. We will have some available in the event that you do not have one-Upon entering, guests will be asked to sanitize their hands as they enter, the front desk coordinator will take your temperature. 

 

  • We will have a form to sign before you are taken to your seat.-If you are diagnosed with Covid-19, we will need proof of a negative covid-19 test before you are able to come back.

 

  • Client should leave belongings in the car.  Please not bring big shopping bags as this will help with contamination.

 

  • Client will not go to the dressing room but straight to chair of designer/colorist if available-Please allow your stylist to pull any product you need for you. This will limit the spread of germs.

 

  • We have installed plexi glass to protect both you and our front desk coordinators at time of check-out. There is a spot to slide your form of payment under the glass. Your coordinator will slide your card back after sanitizing it.

 

  • For Tipping, we will still accept cash or checks. However, using alternative ways like venmo or paypal would help to limit the spread of germs.

 

  • There will only be 15 stylists or less working at one time-There will be a chair between each stylist (6 feet) apart-Stylist will only see one guest at a time -Every shampoo bowl and station will be thoroughly sanitized between each client.

 

  • High traffic areas will be sanitized at least every hour. This includes but is not limit to : door knobs, tools any all surfaces.

 

  • Dressing room and coat hanger area are still closed at this moment Usage of our robes are not available. Please dress accordingly before arrival as we will not be liable for any damaged clothing.

 

  • We are not providing facial, waxing, and makeup services at the moment.

 

  • Self blowing and use of the blow dryer room is closed at this time.

 

  • High traffic areas will be sanitized at least every hour. This includes but is not limited to: doorknobs, tools any all surfaces.

For Salon Staff

The below protocols are being put in place to create a clean and safe salon experience. Because of this, there may be slight delays during appointments. We appreciate your understanding and patience.

  • Staff is required to take temperature test upon arrival to work, if you are feeling unwell, please call the salon and we will rearrange your schedule.
  • Staff is required to wear face coverings and wash your hands frequently (face shields will also be provided in addition to face coverings during the provision of service).
  • All staff are required to wash their own work clothes daily to limit the spread of germs.
  • All staff will be responsible for their work station. EACH STATION WILL BE SANITIZED AFTER CLIENT IS DONE (with Lysol wipe or similar sanitizing agent).
  • Designers and Colorists are required to use Barbicide to sanitize your tools after each client. We will have Barbicide available throughout the salon. (clean and disinfect shears by removing all visible debris, clean with soap and water, and wipe or spray with an EPA-registered disinfectant)
  • All staff Members are NOT TO CONGREGATE in one area. Social Distance is important and is a temporary policy until further notice.
  • Staff will do their best to not move clients to a different station to reduce contamination. Please bring all tools necessary for your clients at the station they are seated at.
  • Designers may possibly cut without gloves if necessary but please be sure that you DO NOT touch your face and continue to sanitize your hand in front of clients and in between services.
  • Salon will only be operating at half capacity with maximum of 12 stylists or less working at one time (stylists and colorists’ schedule will be flexible to help with social distancing in the salon during this pandemic Covid-19 and each staff will not work more than 8 hours a day or more than 40 hours a week).
  • There will be a chair between each stylist (6 feet) apart to keep with social distance.
  • Stylist will only service one guest at a time.
  • There will be two plexiglass sheets at the front desk to limit chance of spread of germs when guests check in and check out.
  • Stylist will be the only person allowed to bring the desired hair product for the guest to the front desk to limit the spread of germs.
