Just like every year, the Oscars have come and showcased the new seasons hair and beauty trends. While much of the audience in attendance and watching from home were anticipating who would receive awards, what they would wear and the latest goss, L Salon were waiting for a glimpse at the red carpet to see what the A listers are doing with their hair!

Lady Gaga

With her latest work of art having recently hit the screens, it is no wonder Lady Gaga was a very anticipated arrival. Her hairstylist, Frederic Aspiras, set the bar high with a voluminous updo reminiscent of Audrey Hepburn in ‘Breakfast at Tiffany’s’.

Amandla Stenberg

Braided beauty, Amandla Stenberg, was turning heads with her unique updo. Hairstylist, Vernon Francois took highlighted braids and coiled them across the forehead to create 2019’s version of the 1920s finger wave – the new and improved.

Emilia Clarke

Emilia goes au naturel, walking the red carpet debuting a new hair color. Hairstylist, Nicola Clarke, took her back to her roots, a chestnut brown, before styling a sleek bob with a sharp center part.

Kiki Layne

A Queen wearing her crown. Kiki’s braided bun and headband combination was created by hairstylist Lacy Redway, who wanted to make sure her hair was complementary and not competing with her gorgeous dress.

Taylor Hill

We’re beginning to see a pattern…another 20s inspired do. Taylor Hill does it well, donning 20s French twists mastered by hairstylist, Danilo.

Hairstylist, Halley Brisker, took 1920s inspired waves to Lucy’s short blonde bob. Coupled with a deep side part, this style won the night in our books!
